I use a disc lock as well, depending on where I park.
Heavy sucker, not cheap, but supposed to be just impossible to open
for any thief.
I use it, apart from the normal steering lock, in any suspicious area.
Like in Frankfurt, you just can't have ENOUGH locks here.
